Packing 'Suitcase'
Auditions are being arranged for Suitcase Theatre’s 1975 company, which will tour Switzerland, Germany, the Low Countries and Britain next summer.
Students who sing, dance, act, play piano, drums, bass, reed, brass or stringed instruments may obtain applications until Nov. 30 from Powell Lindsay, 409 W. Kalamazoo, Lansing 48933, or in Ann Arbor through Mervil Miller, of the Drama Department at Pioneer High School.
After Suitcase Theatre performed in Ann Arbor last June, the multi-ethnic youth troupe toured cross-country to Hawaii, performing for 14,824 people en route, in the Hollywood Bowl, at Expo '74 and the annual convention of the National Education Association, sponsor-hosts of the troupe in 15 cities of 10 states.
