Train-Trolley Watchers Plan Slide Show
Inaugural trips of passenger trains in Michigan will be the subject of a slide show Friday evening at the regular meeting of the Ann Arbor Train and Trolley Watchers at 8 in the parish hall of St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church.
Presented by George Schlaepfer of Livonia, a board member of the Michigan Association for Railroad Passengers and editor of “The Michigan Railfan”, Schlaepfer is an advocate of increased and improved passenger train service in the state. His talk will focus attention on the three passenger routes now being served by Amtrak, and those being planned for the state.
The meeting is open to all without charge.
