Gelman Receiving Export Award
Gelman Instrument Co. here is due to receive the President's “E” Star Award for Exports Feb. 16 for its foreign sales efforts.
U.S. Sen. Robert P. Griffin will present the award in ceremonies at Roma Hall, West Stadium at Liberty.
In its fiscal year ended last July 31 Gelman sold $4 million worth of filtrations products and instruments made here to overseas customers. That represents 38 per cent of its Ann Arbor plant output.
