Age 68, passed away, Thursday evening, April 28, 1977, at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital after a two month illness. She was born March 8, 1909, in Gladstone, Michigan, the daughter of August and Emma Bjork Skogquist. Mrs. Teppo had been an Ann Arbor resident since 1948, moving here from Marquette, Michigan. She married William H. Teppo August 15, 1933, and he preceded her in death August 23, 1964. Mrs. Teppo retired, in 1974, from Michigan Bell Telephone. She was a Supervisor as a Group Chief Operator. Mrs. Teppo was a member of the Eastern Star Lodge of Marquette, a member of the senior citizens of Ann Arbor, and also a member of the Michigan Bell Telephone Pioneers. Survivors include, one son, Dr. Kenneth W. Teppo of Ann Arbor; two daughters, Miss Marilyn R. Teppo of Ann Arbor, and Mrs. Carl (Christine) Litzenberg of Ithaca, New York; five grandchildren, two brothers, Clarence and Robert Skogquist both of Minnesota; one sister, Mrs. August (Ruth) Guiliani of Iron River, Michigan; and five nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be Monday, May 2, at 10:00 a.m., at the Muehlig Chapel, with Rev. Charles Gensheimer officiating. Interment will be in the Bethlehem Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Friends may call at the Muehlig Chapel beginning at 1:00 p.m., Saturday.
