Booked For Lunch
Local historian Wystan Stevens will present a talk and color-slide show at the “Booked for Lunch” program Tuesday at the Ann Arbor Public Library.
Stevens will be introducing a new book which he edited, “Historic Buildings: Ann Arbor, Michigan.”
The book, written by Marjorie Reade and others, will be published in November by the Ann Arbor Historic District Commission with a grant from the Ann Arbor Historical Foundation.
"Stevens is curator of the Kempf House Museum. Steven’s talk is being presented in cooperation with the Historic District Commission.
The “Booked for Lunch” program will begin at 12:10 p.m. in the Main Library’s Meeting Room and will continue through the noon hour. Admission is free and open to all; and those ’ who wish to do so may bring their lunches to eat during the program.
Free coffee and tea will be served by the Friends of the Library, who sponsor the program.
In conjunction with Steven’s talk, an exhibit of photographs of historic Ann Arbor buildings will be on display during the month of November in the exhibit area of the Main Library. The photographs for the display have been provided by Stevens and the Ann Arbor Historic District Commission.
