Four win cash in state Lottery

Four area residents have won a total of $8,000 in cash prizes in the Michigan Lottery’s current instant game, "Michigan Jackpot.” Prizes in the game are awarded to players who find certain combinations of symbols in horizontal rows on their lottery tickets.

Big winner in the group is William P. Marz of Dexter. The three bars which showed up in a row on his ticket represent a prize of $5,000.

The three other winners all claim $1,000 for tickets which showed three sevens in a row. The winners are: Cletus H. Adkins and Malcolm Muscato, both of Ypsilanti, and John Schaefer of Saline.
