Royster opening black forums

Eunice Royster, Ann Arbor Board of Education member, will speak Monday night at the first of a series of three forums on “Local Governance and the Black Communities of Washtenaw County,” sponsored by Theta Zeta Lambda graduate chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity.

Royster will speak on “The Education System and You” at 7:30 p.m. at Second Baptist Church, 850 Oak St.

Other speakers in the series will be George D. Goodman, director of the Michigan Municipal League and former mayor of Ypsilanti; and Wade H. McCree Jr., University of Michigan professor of law and former United States solicitor general.
