WARM WELCOME — New York performing artist Laurie Anderson greets a fan at Schoolkids Records Wednesday afternoon during a three-hour session of autographing album and magazine covers. An estimated 300 fans formed a line at times stretching almost to the Michigan Theater, where she performed last night. Charming and animated, she turned one fan's orange into a baseball with magic-marker stitch marks and drew airplanes and lightening bolts from her second album 'Mister Heartbreak' on the cover of her first, 'Big Science.'
