Reed, Mrs. Paul H.
(Marion Lindquist)
Age 74, died Tuesday, Feb. 5. 1985, at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital after a brief illness. Born June 14, 1910, in Manton, Mich., she was the daughter of Carl and Emma Branzell Lindquist. Mrs. Reed had been a resident of Ann Arbor for the past 43 years, and was a member of The First United Methodist Church of Ann Arbor, the Child's Study Club, and Ann Arbor City Women's Club. She was a graduate of Eastern Michigan University and received her Master's Degree from the University of Michigan. She taught school at Eberwhite School for 20 years, retiring in 1975. On June 13, 1942, she was married to Paul Reed; he preceded her in death on Aug. 23, 1968. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Ross (Peggy) MacDonald of Warren, Mich.; one son, James P. Reed of Ann Arbor; six grandchildren; one brother, Frederick Lindquist of Naples, Flas.; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister. The funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 8, 1985, at Muehlig Chapel with Pastor Russell Kaufman officiating. Interment will be in Washtenong Memorial Park. Memorial tributes may be made to Grace Bible Christian Academy or The Fraser Figure Skating Club, Fraser, Mich. Friends may call at Muehlig Funeral Chapel on Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. and Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
