Ann Arbor, MI
Age 75, died Tuesday, September 19, 1989, at Plymouth Court Convalescent Center. He was born June 21, 1914, in Highland Park, MI, a son of Samuel and Rose (Hamekortzian) Paul. He had been an Ann Arbor resident since 1923. On November 29, 1947, he was married to Ruth Hollands in Kalamazoo. She preceded him in death, June 13, 1981. Mr. Paul served in the U.S. Army-Air Force during WWII. He was a member of the VFW and the Moose Lodge. Mr. Paul had owned and operated Paul's Musical Repair on W. Washington, retiring in 1976. Survivors include on son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Sandra Paul of Ann Arbor; three nieces, and two nephews. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by one brother, Oscar Paul, and one sister, Margaret Heckman. Graveside services will be held Friday, September 22, 11:00 AM at Fairview Cemetery with the Reverend Walter Arnold officiating. The family will receive friends at the Muehlig Chapel, Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Memorial tributes may be made to the Trinity Lutheran Church Memorial Fund.
