Sweet Lorraine's set to branch out into Kerrytown
Sweet Lorraine's is planning to open a bar and grill restaurant on the lower level of the Market Place building near Kerrytown in November. Gary Sussman, vice president of the Detroit area restaurant chain, said the restaurant will be 6,000 square feet. In addition to the open grill and bar, there will be a patio for outdoor dining. Sweet Loraine's has two other locations: Sweet Lorraine’s Cafe in Southfield and its original location, Sweet Lorraine’s Deli & Cafe in Madison Heights. The restaurants are named after Sussman’s wife, Lorraine Platman, who is a co-owner of the business.
