Age 69, died Thursday evening, October 22, 1992 in Chelsea Community Hospital. He was born February 2, 1923 at Iron River, MI the son of William R. and Teckla (Halstron) Aiken. He was a Veteran of World War II, United States Army, a resident of the Dexter-Ann Arbor area for the past 40 years, member of the Dexter American Legion Post #557 and F.O.E. #2154. He married Lorraine LaVeau May 30, 1943 at Stambaugh, MI. He is survived by his wife; his children, William R. Aiken III, Barbara (Lewis) Feeman, both of Dexter, Debbie (James) Boham of Port Richey, FL; brothers, Robert Aiken of Dexter and Roy Aiken of Milwaukee, WI; sisters, Ruth Doletzky of Dexter, June (Earl) Doletzky of Dexter, Carmen Brey of Iron River, Marguerite Mihalovic of Muskego, WI; four grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Clyde and Earl Aiken. Memorial services will be held Monday, October 26, at 1 p.m. at THE HOSMER FUNERAL HOME, Dexter, with the Pastor Mearl L. Bradley of the Chelsea Free Methodist Church officiating. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
