The West Branch of the Ann Arbor Public Library is back from a two-month break during which some major changes were made. The branch library at 2503 Jackson Road, in the Westgate Shopping Center, reopened Monday with 2,314 square feet of space added to the existing 3,222 square feet to accommodate growing collections and services. The project cost $168,000; a dedication is planned for mid-September. At left, Anna James, 5, and sister Sarah, 7, read while patron Ruth Tannenbaum searches for a book nearby.
