Morgan, Louise

Age 84, died Saturday, June 5, 1999 at home. She was born in Ann Arbor on February 3, 1915 to Julius and Clara (Diuble) Zahn. On August 1, 1959 she was married to George G. Morgan in Ann Arbor; he survives. She retired from Washtenaw County in 1978 where she had been the switchboard operator for over 10 years. Prior to that time, she was the switchboard operator at the Michigan Union. She was a member of Bethlehem United Church of Christ, The Ann Arbor Elks Club, The Elks Womens Golf League, Inverness Country Club, and Tri-County Sportsman Club. In addition to her husband George, she is survived by a step-son, William Morgan; four nieces, Mrs. (Kenneth) Judith Tappe, Geraldine Sharrar, Delores Lambie and Kay Lynne Zahn; and a sister-in-law, Marie Zahn. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Esther Lentz; and two brothers, Raymond and Elmer Zahn. A memorial service will be at Muehlig Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, June 9, 1999 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Deborah Schueneman officiating. Visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bethlehem United Church of Christ of Hospice of Washtenaw.
