DEQ Plans Meeting On Pall Meeting
IN BRIEF
DEQ plans meeting on Pall cleanup
The state Department of Environmental Quality will hold a public meeting Wednesday night on a plan to clean up contamination from aquifers beneath the city of Ann Arbor.
DEQ officials will take comment on Pall Life Science’s plan to remove 1,4 dioxane from groundwater. The plan calls for some extraction of groundwater near the Huron River, should it be necessary, extraction west of Wagner Road, and extraction, treatment and re-injection back into the plume at the Maple Village Shopping Center.
