Library board picks Surovell as president<br><br>Ed Surovell was elected president of the Ann Arbor District Library Board of Trustees Monday night. Library Director Josie Parker also swore in Barbara Murphy as vice president, Margaret Leary as treasurer, and David Cahill as secretary of the board.<br><br>Ed Surovell, an area real estate broker and the longest-serving member of the library board, then presided over the July meeting. The library board has seven members.<br><br>From News staff
