Age 79, died on Wednesday, October 6, 2004 at Riverview of Ann Arbor. She was born October 25, 1924 in Port Huron the daughter of John and Jessica (Ellington) Fritz. She was united in marriage to Robert Wisler; he preceded her in death on September 22, 2004. Nancy provided emergency foster care for many years with her husband. She cared for a total of 198 babies. She was a devoted wife and mother and cared for her friends. Nancy had a real fondness for animals and cardinals. During WWII, she was a Rosie Riveter. She is survived by her children, John F. (Pamela) Wisler of Iron Mountain, Terry Ann of Ann Arbor, Debra L. (Richard) Byrne of Highlands Ranch, CO, and Maria (Jason M.) Margolis of Vancouver, WA; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday, October 11, 2004 at MUEHLIG FUNERAL CHAPEL with Rev. Kennyon Edwards officiating. Burial will follow at Bethlehem Cemetery. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Those wishing may make memorial contributions to Catholic Social Services.
