Newspapers
The Library of Michigan Newspaper Databases
The Library of Michigan provides free access to Michigan residents to dozens of searchable newspaper databases, most notably the Ann Arbor News, 1923-present. Apply for a Library of Michigan library card.
Local and Regional Newspaper databases through AADL
In addition to our online newspaper collections, AADL subscribes to regional newspaper databases, including the Ann Arbor News (coverage runs June 11, 2003-July 23, 2009; and January 1, 2016-present), the historical Detroit Free Press, and The Detroit News.
