Meh submitted by yugure on October 26, 2012, 1:02pm I read the first two chapters or so of this book, then jumped to the last couple chapters to see how the plot plays out, and to be honest, I don't feel like I missed much in between. The voice of the main character does not feel like an authentic voice; instead, it feels as though the author is trying too hard to make the character seem real. The characters aren't all that interesting, the world seemed pretty standard fantasy world fare, and the plot is predictable. Overall, not a great choice.

Great book submitted by DL on July 16, 2014, 2:49pm This book takes turns not expected. Didn't want to put this book down.

Good book submitted by peterflorence on June 13, 2015, 9:39am This book is a little slow at the beginning and has a surprise ending. You should read it.

Lots of fun! submitted by jdev13 on August 19, 2016, 9:15am This book wasn't the greatest book in the world, but it kept me on my toes, and I tore through it. Lots of fun, a few turns and surprises, and overall a good read!

Really Good!! submitted by MuffinzMainia on July 21, 2017, 10:53am This is a really good book that I highly recommend to teens.

btw to yugure - THIS IS NOT FANTASY

Predictable fun submitted by steveiew on June 22, 2018, 11:06am Though the story was predictable, it was also a fun tale. Great read for young teens.

Awesome book! submitted by Claireywang on July 25, 2018, 11:04am I do admit, this book was a bit tiresome at the beginning, but the ending was completely unexpected and I didn’t wanna put the book down. I was so sad when I had to put it away....

Alright submitted by c_zhang on June 28, 2019, 3:13pm The beginning was really slow, but eventually the story picked up. It wasn't that good though.

Pretty good submitted by 2025MJW on August 4, 2020, 8:47am I've been berated by my friends to read this for a long time and just now got around to reading it. The story is nice but is a little slow in the beginning. There are, however, major plot twists hidden throughout the novel, so be sure to read the whole thing if you start it!
