COMMUNITY REVIEWS

5 Stars submitted by scooterpie on July 25, 2011, 1:46pm Hornby's High Fidelity is an essential novel for any reader who enjoys brutally honest, funny, and complex narrators. Hornby does a beautiful job intertwining a love of music with Rob's relationship histoy (something most of us may do ouselves).

An absolute must-read for...well, anyone, really!

A men's classic submitted by A2Doug2 on July 25, 2016, 2:47pm This is the novel, after his engaging memoir Fever Pitch, that put Nick Hornby on the map as a singular voice of men in the 20th (and 21st) centuries. Lots have tried and failed to imitate him, but he's still the king. This book is my comfort food that I come back to every few years.

One of his best submitted by SaraP on August 7, 2022, 1:15pm Probably his most famous book, and rightly so. It's a fun read w/ great characters and some really interesting pop-culture references.

Read it again submitted by Dettmarb on July 24, 2023, 12:19am As good today as it was 30 year ago!
