Once Upon a Time...

...this was a fascinating best seller. This was in '83 -- a full quarter of a century ago. Sadly, this examination of class in America hasn't aged well. So many cultural shifts have taken place since the author did his research -- computers at home! Leasing cars! -- it seems the qualifiers of class he relied upon need adjusting.
I would love to see an updated version of this book.
