Mad Wicked Folly submitted by girlmike on July 1, 2016, 9:02pm The main character is a very head-strong young woman at the turn of the century in England. She is passionately interested in Art in a way that just wasn't done for women of the day. Vicky's decision to pursue her passion for her art must be maintained secretly and leads her to intersect with the the suffragette movement. At first she isn't interested in the plight of the lower class working women and their quest for rights. Over time she understands that her wishes and theirs are tied together. She must choose between the confining but very secure life as a wealthy woman of the times and the freedoms but insecurities experienced by those women of the lower class.
