Having read about 1/3rd of it so far, it's a GREAT book. No wonder the author got the NOBEL PRIZE. submitted by Tassos on December 26, 2022, 4:01pm When will most Americans read a REALLY GOOD BOOK? If you think Stephen King and John Grisham andn their likes, you are mistaken. their books are OK, but NOT like this one (which is not a fantasy horror silly King Novel, nor yet another courtroom soap opera).

LAst night I finished it (Jan 3, 2023). One of Pamuk's best books. Very impressive and satisfying.

Orhan Pamuk describes people he did NOT grow up with, and his detailed descriptions are amazing.

It is no accident he got the Nobel Prize long ago. ANd he is still quite young.

PS in addition, this book is a DELIGHT of first class publishing, the booksetting, the pages are NOT GLUED together, but sewn in signatures as all proper Books worthy of their name should be.

SO, will you keep reading CRAP, or will you try to read a MASTERPIECE like this one?>
