An Amazing Book! submitted by june226 on February 14, 2011, 8:01pm This book is incredible! It's a book for everything and everyone! It's full of so many rare subjects that startle and mesmerize you with magnificent entrancement. You are not going to be able to put this book down. And when you finish it, you will sigh, stroke the cover, and pray to god there will be another!

Gripping novel submitted by marielle on June 29, 2011, 6:51pm Katsa can kill just about anyone with ease. And her uncle the king thinks he can get away with anything with her at his side. If she'll stay that way...

This book is very exciting and entertaining and I enjoyed it quite a bit. It's also nice to see a childfree-by-choice heroine once an a while.

book submitted by dekeyzerj on July 15, 2011, 10:10am scary

awesome book submitted by samantha o on August 14, 2011, 8:00am I love this book

Graceling submitted by Smiles on June 15, 2012, 12:28pm Katsa has a green eye and a blue eye. She was born with the grace of killing. Po has a gold eye and a silver eye. He was born with the grace of mind reading. Together, they go on an adventure to stop an evil king from taking over.

Awesome submitted by glennauerbach on June 16, 2012, 1:30pm This book is awesome. I love it.

An Amazing Book submitted by mysterio on June 27, 2012, 1:32am This book was a great read. I love that the action never stopped. It kept me extremely engaged and I went on to read Kristin Cashore's next novel, Fire

Good submitted by alumeng.ajl on July 3, 2012, 8:08pm This book was good. One thing that I disliked was that the climax seemed anti-climatic. I won't describe what was wrong with it, because that would be impossible without spoiling it. I'm still planning on reading the rest of the trilogy, though.

Fantastic submitted by Memoria1224 on July 21, 2012, 6:43pm This is an amazing book! There's a lot of action and adventure in it. There's some romance too.

Very good submitted by smariej on August 31, 2012, 3:46pm A great novel about a young heroine and how those in power often try to take advantage of those with special skills. If there's a sequel, I will definitely read.

Original submitted by nicole on June 18, 2013, 4:09pm Wonderfully original! I read also Fire and hopefully I'll have to to read Bitterblue soon.

Wonderful! submitted by jrg on June 18, 2013, 6:07pm This is a wonderful start to a wonderful trio. Cashore skillfully wove together action and emotion, romance and mystery in this stunning novel. Graceling is gripping. I couldn't put it down for a moment.

Adventure! submitted by rummella on July 16, 2013, 5:02pm Excellent adventure tale. Katsa is a "graced" with the talent to kill but is manipulated by uncle to use he skill as he wishes... Yet through the book we see Katsa develop into a thoughtful and strong heroine. Well written, the author draws you into the intrigue and mystical world...

Thrilling Debut submitted by semartin on August 13, 2014, 12:08am All in all, this is a pretty solid debut novel for an author. The ending feels a bit rushed and unfinished, but that might have been the intention. Looking forward to reading what else Cashore puts out there. Worth a read if you enjoy young adult fantasy, especially female-centric young adult fantasy.

Fascinating submitted by kzheng on June 18, 2018, 11:03am All the books in this series are amazing. The stories aren't cliched and predictable.

Excited submitted by menmen on June 18, 2018, 4:43pm When I get to the middle of this book, I found that every clue in this book just connected to a strand and lead to the exciting adventure of killing Leck. You would like this book. Pretty interesting!

Feminist fantastic submitted by lstorc on August 27, 2018, 5:14pm While the ending was predictable, the heroine was inspiring. This is a must-read for all young ladies.
