Kazdin's ABC method is composed of antecedents, behavior, and consequences, and he dedicates one chapter to each. Actually he gives two chapters to consequences.
This is a newer book than "The Kazdin method for parenting the defiant child," and, along with a milder title, it provides more theory and fewer concrete examples. Those examples are found in a single chapter, whereas in the defiant child book, copious examples are found throughout.
