Fantastic submitted by lpettie on July 18, 2016, 6:11pm Loved this story of Irish immigration.
Captured the Feeling submitted by emroon on August 5, 2022, 12:36pm This book beautifully captured the feelings and emotions of a young immigrant woman. As someone who hasn’t had that personal experience I felt the characters emotions and I related to the feeling of leaving your family. Books often don’t make me cry and the passages about the [SPOILER] death of the main characters sister brought me to tears. Enjoyed very much!
