There are so many wonderful and colorful holidays in Japan, and this is a nice, simple presentation of many of them. We have a bit of Japanese heritage - but all traditions have been lost. We were hoping to reintroduce a few of these traditions into our family, and ended up purchasing the book. It's a good starting point, and a nice way to expose children to the rich culture of Japan.
