Red tree -- Lost thing -- Rabbits.
Three stories explore how we lose and find what matters most to us, as a girl finds a bright spot in a dark world, a boy leads a strange, lost being home, and a group of peaceful creatures loses its home to cruel invaders.
Three short stories that focus on loss and despair ; the final story, The rabbits, was written by John Marsden.

COMMUNITY REVIEWS
Glad I Found This submitted by Caser on November 5, 2011, 4:59pm Shaun Tan continues to evoke a complex array of emotions though his rich, surprising images and spare, striking words. He is one of only a handful of authors whose work has never once disappointed me in any of his books. Lost and Found is a real treat for Tan fans, as it is three stories in one book: The Red Tree, The Lost Thing, and The Rabbits (words by John Marsden), each page of which will immediately awe readers yet gradually draw them back for second and third readings and viewings to fall into the details. Like a previous reviewer said, Tan's artwork is good enough to hang on the walls. His stories will appeal to adults and kids alike
