Eerie Fascination submitted by cjkoho on July 25, 2014, 2:55pm I didn't like this book so much as I was fascinated by it. I live in a rural area and my son started school in 2006. It was always my fear that he would be caught in the cross-fire of a school-shooting. Fortunately, it never happened, but I was fearful for a very long time.

Cullen provides exhaustive information about the shooters, the victims, and the issues surrounding Columbine. I finished with the feeling I knew all I ever needed to know. He exploded the myths around the killers, including how and why they did what they did. He even provides the viewpoint of their parents. I will admit I spent some time blaming them for what happened, now I've found some compassion for them and am cutting them a little slack.

Fascinating and disturbing at the same time. I raced through it in 2 days.
