the best book ever submitted by leikalou22 on June 24, 2011, 3:52pm This book was and is my favorite book I have ever read I think it is a GREAT book for people that like adventure books.
! submitted by marisal on June 26, 2011, 2:23pm I liked it a lot but would not recomend it for people who don't have a long attention spand cause you might get lost.
Great submitted by evelyn on July 9, 2011, 8:17pm This is a wonderful book for all ages, but especially for children who want adventure fiction. It's particularly note-worthy as it has a female heroine who is smart and bold. Kids (and adults!) will be interested to know that it is based on a true story. Island of the Blue Dolphins submitted by leehannah on June 16, 2012, 9:24pm This is probably one of the most oldest books that I have ever read. Yet, it is very interesting and I loved reading it. It taught me how life was like a very long while ago. It was quite interesting with some history based on the story.

We read this book in my sixth grade class, for our
adventure unit, although I thought it had very little
danger, risk, action and excitement.
Favorite classic submitted by lec.dank on July 26, 2013, 10:13pm This is not really considered a classic... But i like to think of it as one. :)
:) submitted by Lizzy on August 12, 2013, 3:33pm i liked this book
old favorite submitted by KOH on August 27, 2017, 8:34pm I liked this as a kid, and now enjoy reading with it my daughter!
Masterpiece for kids submitted by crp on August 10, 2019, 6:46am I loved this as a child and can not wait to read it to my daughter. The fact that it is a historical fiction for kids is even better. There is so much to consider here- how she makes her home, how she lives without human company, how she survives.
a favorite. submitted by AGAPHD on July 5, 2020, 8:28pm this was one of the first books i ever loved. so highly recommended!
