COMMUNITY REVIEWS

A Bill Peet morality tale submitted by FordAlpha on July 21, 2018, 10:15pm Like most of Bill Peet's stories, "Ella" has a clear moral: appreciate what you have. It's one of several Peet stories set in an old-fashioned three-ring circus, although the titular elephant runs away from the circus in a fit of pique and spends most of the book on a hardscrabble farm, doing hard labor for her mean-spirited captor. After a year of this suffering, she's learned her lesson; escaping back to the circus, she becomes a team player.

a classic submitted by .-.-.-. on June 17, 2021, 10:20pm Cute picture book where Ella the elephant runs away from the circus. I overall enjoyed the plot and found this book interesting, I would recommend this for those learning to read.
