excellent book submitted by vln on June 1, 2008, 3:32pm This story is told entirely in pictures. The illustrations are wonderful. Fanciful. Imaginative.

Take it home. Enjoy.

beautiful picture book submitted by Sylwia on January 28, 2014, 5:49pm This book is wonderful and not just because of the great illustrations. It tells the story of a curious little boy spending the day at the beach. He makes an amazing find. I will not spoil the story line, request this book and find out on your own. Quite imaginative and wondrous story line told through pictures. Let your child observe and immerse herself/himself in the story and tell it with her own words. One of my favorites.
Other great books are HERO OF LITTLE STREET or NO DOGS ALLOWED

Magical book submitted by doctorfang on August 2, 2014, 6:55pm This is one of the most beautifully illustrated books I've ever seen. The story unfolds in illustrations only, but no words are needed. A child finds an old camera washing up on the beach, and investigates it and the film within. The resulting photos unlock a magical mystery, to which the child contributes in the end. Truly lovely.

Beautiful submitted by rimpopu on August 2, 2014, 9:21pm A beautiful picture book that has no words. A boy finds a camera on the beach and takes it to a photo studio to get the film printed. What he sees in the prints is a totally new world, mysterious and awesome. Although this book is intended for Kindergarten on, it would require some help from parents to explain what is happening in the story and what they are seeing. Since the book is wordless it does give an opportunity to open a dialogue on "what will you do if you find something like this?" or "what do you think is happening here?" and so on. Older elementary children may enjoy the discussions on this book. However I don't see this one as a book requested repeatedly just for that.

Great book submitted by maggie_aa on August 21, 2018, 11:41pm very beautiful book

Beautiful to look at submitted by katiekipp on June 17, 2019, 10:38pm You can get lost in looking at this wordless book!

Picture how you could translate this to a classroom submitted by ccrose on August 24, 2019, 5:50pm Show your students how a single detail can grow a whole new storyline! Kindergarten to 4th grade. Prepare for the flurry of imagination and how to tell a story!

A must read submitted by ooyzzam on June 11, 2022, 3:57pm Ever since I had a son I have found the beauty of kid's picture book. This is one of the best, if not the best. The imagination is breathtaking, and the pictures are so beautiful. The author is a true artist.
