Jeff Zentner is a first time novelist who lives in rural Tennessee. He is also a singer-songwriter who has recorded with Iggy Pop, Nick Cave, and Debbie Harry and has worked with young musicians at a teen rock camp. Characters are believable and interesting. I think we have a lot to look forward to if he keeps writing.
