Hard to read but worthwhile submitted by GJBarnett2 on June 18, 2015, 4:35pm A series of short stories in the first person about various US Marines' experiences in the Iraq War by one author. Often uncomfortable and unpleasant, in one case so crammed with military jargon and acronyms as to be almost unreadable, the point perhaps being that if you can't even understand the language, you can't possibly understand the experience. The best "War on Terror" fiction I've yet read.
