hope in the sadness submitted by mansii on July 6, 2016, 4:26pm Growing up this was always the saddest story to me. Now, though it is still sad, I see all the beauty in it too. E.B White shows how even death and loss of those we love there is a chance for new life.

Radient! submitted by wysea on July 4, 2018, 11:17am This book kinda made me want to visit a farm. The animals have great personalities. I want to be a spider now. The cartoon version is good too. I especially like the songs and music written by the Sherman Brothers.

Beautiful submitted by squirrellynut on August 26, 2019, 8:32am Charlotte the spider must save Wilbur the pig from being eaten. I cried the first time when I read this book. Heartbreaking, but beautiful. A must read for every kid.

Best friends - spider and pig submitted by janelizlynch on June 28, 2020, 7:59pm I am six years old and just finished kindergarten. I enjoyed this book because there are two friends: a spider and a pig. The spider saves the pig's life, because he is her best, best friend. This book reminds you that a true friend is what you are looking for. And you can be best friends even if your friend is different from you. There are also some funny parts in this book. You might want to read this book, because it is a TOP kids' book.

I loved it! submitted by ryan.lorenz on July 19, 2020, 11:13am I was moved to tears at the end of the book! Why does it have to be Charlotte, the kind, loving spider who helps the runt pig Wilbur that dies? Great book!

Lovely read submitted by lfmarcus on August 3, 2020, 12:11pm I read this to my 6 year old son and we both really liked it! I know I'd read it as a child but I'd forgotten most of it. I like how it's relatively low stakes in many ways, and relatable, but still deals with Big Topics (death, change, etc.) in a way that prompted good discussion at home.

Charlotte's Web submitted by maywang on July 24, 2021, 8:25am An excellent classic. Definitely recommend it to those that haven't read this yet.

From a 6 year old submitted by momreset on July 28, 2021, 1:46pm It was super fun to listen to and the pig was gonna get killed but he got saved. It was sad and happy. It told about friendship. Let your kids read this

good book even for adults! submitted by jangmikyoung on July 20, 2022, 10:42am A seemingly superficial book about life on the farm but it goes deeper into exploring the themes of friendship

Excellent submitted by pratibhamahesh on July 8, 2023, 7:25pm This is an excellent book for kids, teaching them the value of friendship.
