When at the end of your rope, read this to your kid submitted by FordAlpha on August 6, 2023, 9:00pm It will help you feel better not only because you get to yell "LEAVE ME ALONE!", but also because the story gives you a chance to take a deep breath before returning to the craziness. Vera Brosgol's sweater-knitting heroine travels in some very unexpected directions seeking solitude, and I think of her every time I really need a break! The illustrations are wonderful too.
