Great read! Glory!

Wow I found this book hard to put down. Glory is a girl in 1964 Mississippi worried about all the things an eleven year old girl does. How does this affect me. She learns about much more in a captivating way through her new friends, a Yankee, and her older sister's new boyfriend. Great capture of the time and the dialects.
I found one factual error that I found fascinating. One of the characters is reading a book and makes a statement that is factually wrong and I can't decide if the error is to point out the closed mindedness of the south at that time, an error of the character, or just an error in the book. I think I prefer to believe it is the first.
Great insight from a child's perspective on the Civil Rights movement and it's importance.
