Jumped the Shark submitted by kbcmmom on July 26, 2011, 7:58pm Really fascinating until the last several chapters when an interesting historical fiction book took a turn to the unbelieveable and jumped the shark.
Not my cup of tea. submitted by tbbrown76 on July 12, 2014, 9:34pm But its okay.
Why does everyone like this book? submitted by A2AE on July 24, 2018, 10:34pm I read this when it was a newer title and was recommended by several people as the best book. I kept reading and waiting for it to get good. I wondered when it would get good as blood dripped down the boy's hands, when sex acts against a minor occurred, during a suicide attempt. And you know what? It never got good. It was like East of Eden, where everything goes from bad to horrible, only not as well written.
