Ghost has issues he still needs to deal with, but he's got good people/teammates behind him now. Dealing with domestic violence, shoplifting, bullying, etc. Awesome!

Ghost submitted by jhaberich on August 4, 2023, 11:56am This is the first book in a series that is one of my favorite Jason Reynold's writing. Ghost has a lot to run from, but joining the track team opens a totally new side of him and he starts to make friends. The writing itself is very good, but the story is just so easy to fall into, connect with the characters, and analyze. I recommend for grades 4-7 and for anyone who likes to run track.
