Captivating submitted by yugure on October 24, 2012, 11:17am I didn't expect to like this book but I was pleasantly surprised. Well-crafted with a believable romance.

Assassin Romance submitted by sdunav on July 1, 2013, 4:57pm This medieval alternate history - aimed primarily at teens or young adults - tries hard to be Lois McMaster Bujold, but ends up more like Robin Hobb.

A poor farmer's abused daughter is sent to a convent dedicated to the saint of death, where she is trained to be an assassin and then sent to the royal court of Brittany in the 15th century. It wasn't quite as predictable as it the description makes it seem, but it wasn't overwhelmingly fantastic, either. A good read if you like poisons.

Love The story submitted by nbissada on July 12, 2015, 9:52am When I first got this book I wasnt sure if I would like it but it turned out to BE AMAZING! The balance between the medieval history and the romance is just great. This book is a series.

Amazing submitted by cmorville on June 25, 2016, 9:14pm I was very unsure when I first got this book, but after getting only a few pages in, I couldn't put it down. It was a great story, I would highly recommend.

Great submitted by readingqueen76 on July 21, 2017, 4:48pm It was a really good book! I really like how they mixed romance into it, without it being soggy. Plus the miedval time period was a nice addition.
