A Nana explains to her quizzical Granddaughter that she loves the lines in her face, because each one represents a memory.
The story behind each memory that she names is told not with words, but with an exquisite double spread illustration.
With beautiful colors and bright expressions, as vivid as Nana's best memories, we're reminded that much like a picture, a feeling is worth a million words.
Overall, this book is happy and heartwarming.
It encouraged me to imagine what the pictures would be if I was speaking to my own Grandma.
I highly recommend reading it.
