Hilarious submitted by yugure on February 27, 2013, 4:07pm I laughed so hard I cried. Didn't care for the chapter on her acid trip experience, though. And I have to admit, by the end of the book, I just kind of felt sorry for the author. Her life seems very hard for her to live through, but it also seems like she has a wonderful support system in place through her family. And cats. And various taxidermied animals.

Enjoyable submitted by KathyD on June 15, 2014, 8:44am Read this book because I find her blog so hilarious. Like her blog, much of the book is very funny. There was more devoted to her mental health and medical issues than I expected, which were often both moving and funny. I enjoyed her description of how she met her husband after seeing many of their odd conversations recounted on her blog.

still laughing submitted by Jackie77 on July 12, 2015, 8:56pm Super funny account of a strange childhood

Great style! submitted by Xris on June 29, 2018, 2:07pm I love her style of irreverence when writing, like she's talking sassily right to you. I also love the accompanying photographs documenting her stories. Now I want my daughter to read it. Good read for people with anxiety, to know they're not alone.

Funny submitted by blue77rose on July 19, 2018, 9:58pm Very funny. At times sad and painful. Well crafted and very enjoyable.

Love her submitted by amcerickson on July 24, 2021, 2:30pm Putting Jenny Lawson on my dinner party list.

So funny submitted by glazewsk on September 13, 2021, 6:40pm A tongue-in-cheek version of Tara Westover’s “Educated”.

Funny and relatable submitted by purplelily on June 12, 2022, 9:19pm Jenny Lawson is hilarious and relatable. I listened to the audiobook then reread it which was a bonus because of the photos in the book.

Hilarious! submitted by Jae Garcia on August 10, 2022, 5:57pm I accidentally found this book one day and what a happy accident it was. This woman is hilarious! I just love how brilliant she is in her way of making you see the full picture and make fun of herself all at the same time.

A must if you ever need a good laugh.
