"This book contains some stories from my life: the awkward growing-up years, the confusing dating years, the fulfilling work years, and what it was like to be asked to play one of my favorite characters again. Also included: tales of living on a houseboat, meeting guys at awards shows, and that time I was asked to be a butt model. A hint: all three made me seasick. -- Lauren Graham" -- from back of dust jacket.

Great submitted by cindygeer on June 27, 2018, 2:15pm Gilmore Girls, Parenthood. It'll leave you wanting to watch all of her work again.

A fun read for fans of Ms. Graham or Gilmore Girls submitted by debacker on June 29, 2018, 2:01am As a fan of Gilmore Girls, I was excited to see a novel written by Lorelei Gilmore herself! Graham writes in a conversational style that is easy going and as I flipped through the pages Ms. Graham’s voice was clear and distinct. She provides an insight to her life leading up to the role and her memories from the show that made her a household name. It’s a fun read that fans of Ms Graham or Gilmore Girls will enjoy.

Fun read submitted by JSabatini on August 29, 2018, 7:46am If you are a fan of Gilmore Girls you will enjoy this. She writes as if she is conversing with friends which makes is very easy to read. She had some fun stories about her life before Gilmore Girls right up to filming the reboot. This would be a great read for the beach.

"Read" this as an Audio Book! submitted by amandaryan123 on August 31, 2018, 10:25pm As a fan of Gilmore Girls, and Lauren Graham in general, I was very excited to read (or rather listen) to this book. Since the audio book is read by Lauren herself, her inflection comes through so much better than if someone else were reading her words. The book has nostalgia from The Gilmore Girls and Parenthood that is fun to listen to, and great little "life tidbits" that are classic. I thoroughly enjoyed this and recommend it to anyone looking for a good audio book!

Quick read, but submitted by dree411 on August 31, 2019, 12:52pm It was a relatively quick read, but I felt it lacked some depth. As another reviewer mentioned, it was as if she was having a conversation with friends.
