Fascinating story with a great main character submitted by MollyWiding on July 23, 2019, 6:42pm Lazlo is one of the best male main characters I've ever read. He's kind-hearted, creative, and brave. The world Laini builds in this book is every bit as complex and fantastical as the world in her other book series. The characters are compelling and complex, and although the plot twist at the end was rather predictable many of the other twists throughout the novel were not.

Taylor's writing is phenomenal - some of the most beautiful fantasy writing I have read. Excellent, charismatic characters that pull you in. A fantastic story. I LOVE this book.
