Shockingly Good Results submitted by Meginator on August 31, 2019, 11:27pm I came into this book fairly skeptical, based on my previous experiences with mug cakes, but I was very pleasantly surprised by the recipes in this book. Not only do they taste good, but they are actually fairly simple and really do take only five minutes, at most, to prepare. The basic chocolate cake recipe has become my go-to quick chocolate dessert option (seriously, I’ve eaten at least 10 of them since checking this out). Everything I tried was good, though the recipes that included eggs were inconsistent and sometimes came out with strange textures. Nonetheless, consider me a microwave mug cake skeptic duly (and fully) converted.

Some of these flavors are great (I recommend the lemon dream cake). These are also super quick and easy to mix up. It doesn't involve any of the hassle of a real cake. You just mix it up and pop it in the microwave!
