A different kind of Chosen One submitted by steveiew on June 21, 2018, 1:03pm I was a little dubious of this series at first but I greatly enjoyed the first book. The second book was equally enjoyable! The story picks back up with Henrietta Howel as she continues to battle against the demons. She travels to find a weapon that could make all the difference in this war but finds more than she expected.

A Solid Sequel! submitted by ajstemp on June 27, 2018, 1:43pm Much like the first book, I immensely enjoyed this one. It adds new layers and depth to the characters introduced in the first book, without falling into the predictable patterns of other YA books. It's a fun read set in a unique, interesting world!
