COMMUNITY REVIEWS

It's easy to recommend this to you submitted by Susan4Pax -prev. sueij- on July 21, 2018, 10:25am The kids and I heard Joe Biden speak on his _Promise Me, Dad_ book tour, and each ticket came with a copy of the book. I'm glad it did. It's a well written human interest story about his son Beau's struggle with cancer, how the family dealt with it, and what Beau's loss (on top of the tragic loss of his first wife and Beau and Hunter's mother) has meant in Biden's life. It's a story about struggle and purpose and strength. He ties politics and his job as Vice President in well, and I love the view we have of his life of public service and his consideration of running for president, but the book clearly isn't about that. It was a good read, and easy to recommend.
