Effectively Simulates Distance submitted by Meginator on June 18, 2025, 10:38pm This is a lovely print that uses its hazy impressionist style to effectively simulate the effect of looking at a mountain from a distance. The view is clear, yet its mode of construction lends it a unique and compelling visual style that feels almost more natural, more real, than hyper-realism. The painting evokes both a sense of peace and a desire to explore, to go further into the landscape, following the bend of what might be a river toward the rock looming in the distance. It's really effective and really beautiful all at once, with a lot of hidden subtlety in its strokes and its use of color. This is the kind of art that grows on you the more you look at it, and I'm glad I was able to have it up on my wall for a while.
