more fun than little ol' chess submitted by FordAlpha on August 24, 2017, 9:31pm My 10-year-old has taken a couple of chess classes, and he beat me easily. Still, I had fun whacking his pieces for dramatic take-downs. Gameplay would be better if the pieces were a little heavier, more weighted in the bottom so they don't tip over as easily and so toddlers can't haul them off as easily. But then it would go from "difficult to transport" to "nearly impossible to transport." If only the library had a home delivery service!

Great but takes up space in your vehicle submitted by KathyD on August 25, 2019, 10:47am I misread the catalog entry. The chess set comes in four large bags, and we could barely fit it in our minvan with the two other games I had ordered.
