Awesome! submitted by rbranstrom on December 3, 2016, 6:11pm What an amazing tool available at the library! I have hand carders, but was excited about processing my raw wool faster! The carder is easy to set up and understand- and is really fun to work with! Just be sure to have a good solid surface to work on.

Easy to use submitted by gwyneth on August 31, 2018, 9:41pm I found this carder very easy to use despite never having used any kind of carding equipment before. It's a lot of fun to create custom batts to spin!

Carder submitted by c_zhang on June 21, 2019, 1:23am I feel like I would like to try this before deciding whether or not I should buy one.

Helpful Machine that saves the fingers submitted by gem on August 17, 2019, 10:04am This machine is 100 times better than the paddle carders which would often cause my fingers to be pricked (ouch!). With this machine, there doesn't need to be as much energy put forth and the results are great. It is very time-saving.

Best Library Ever!!! submitted by dlfredrickson on June 29, 2020, 10:03pm I have had some fiber that was washed, waiting for me to hand card it for 3 years. In one afternoon using this drum carder I was able to get it all carder. I got it spun and knit into an amazing hat my sister loves (the wool was from her sheep). I'm hoping to get the carder again soon so I can finish up the rest of the fiber/spinning/knitting. She's going to get a matching cowl.

Handy little carder submitted by monicalea on January 3, 2022, 3:34am The carder is incredibly helpful in processing bigger fleeces that would take me forever with my hand combs and carders but it desperately needs a new drive band.
